Bright Blonde Hair Favorites
Up until we moved to Orlando, I had never really died my hair or did anything to it but since moving here I get my hair done pretty regularly! I really like the light light blonde look and feel like I have tried so many products on my hair trying to get ones that I like! So below are all of the items that I am currently using! I go over all of the items that I use and when I use them and how often and all of that sort of thing! I do feel like my hair products change every so often but for the most part these have been around for a while now.
HAIR PRODUCTS
Head and Shoulders Shampoo - I was so sick of trying shampoo after shampoo trying t find a good one for my hair so I just went back to one that I knew worked. I like that this makes my hair feel clean and fresh and it’s just a good product! Plus its an affordable product!
Verb Hydrating Conditioner - I started using this the same time I started using the Very Purple hair mask and I havent been disappointed at all. When I am buying conditioner I want it to make my hair feel soft without feeling like there is a film on my hair and it has delivered! I will keep rebuying this conditioner!
Verb Purple Hair Mask - I just started using this after the last time I got my hair done and it has done a really good job of keeping my color. Usually purple conditioner feels really dry but I do about a quarter size of the purple mask with a pea size of the regular verb conditioner and it is great!
Bumble & Bumble Blow Dry Accelerator Spray - I’ve used this blow dry accelerator for about 5 or 6 years now and I have repurchased it like 4 times! I love it so much, it takes about 4-5 sprays and it makes my hair dry so much faster. It is also great because it acts as a heat protectant from the blow dryer and whatever other hot tools I use on my hair that day!
Ouai Leave in Conditioner - I sort of said this above but when I use my purple conditioner to keep my blonde it can be a little bit drying so I spray this in on my wet hair before I brush out my hair it is so great. I originally just got the little travel size to try it out and since then I have repurchased a couple of times but I get the bigger size.
Kerastase Resistance Serum - This product is absolutely amazing, I have been using it for a few years now and each bottle lasts so long. It literally makes your hair feel like you just got a fresh haircut! It heals hair ends, acts as a heat protectant and nourishes damaged hair. It honestly just makes your hair feel so good, I feel like I share this product with everyone that comes into my bathroom, plus everyone over on my Instagram stories when I use it!
Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo - I have tried a lot of dry shampoos in my time. Lately I have been on the Amika Dry Shampoo train but I also keep the SGX Dry Shampoo on hand as well. The Amika dry shampoo smells so good and I actually like the way that my hair feels when I use it. Some dry shampoos really feel gross in my hair. But when I have this in my hair it feels fresh and clean again without the feeling of having product in my hair! It smells so good and there is no residue when it’s sprayed!
The Kure Intense Bond Repair Mask - I use this hydrating hair mask and I leave it in for 2-3 hours and then wash it out in the shower and use shampoo and conditioner after it is rinsed out! It works really well and doesn’t leave my hair feeling really heavy the next morning which is huge for me and one of the things I look for most in a hair mask! I think I will use this 2-3 times a month just for some hydration in my hair, especially going into the pool months and being outside a lot and in the sun.
I feel like that might have been a lot of information but I wanted to have it all in one spot! I finally have like “my favorites” and I just want to share them with everyone. I will also share my Dry Shampoo Review that I did and my Updated Skincare Routine while we are on the topic of all things beauty related! I am slowly writing updated blog posts for all of these topics. If you have any questions at all feel free to comment below and I will respond in a comment. You can always email me hello@emmatarynjones.com and I will get back to you!
