Gluten-Free Super bowl Sunday RECIPES

Hi Friends!

Game Day just got a major upgrade with our Gluten-Free Game Day menu. Trust me when I say this – assembling it was not only a feast for the senses but also an absolute blast, thanks to my partner-in-crime, aka my husband. The best part? The incredible food coma that followed – but we'll get to that. Let me break down the delicious details for you!

Super Bowl Sunday Menu

The Set Up:

Putting together a game menu is an art, and the more, the merrier! My husband and I teamed up for this one because, let's face it, there were so many components, but the end result was totally worth it. The laughter, teamwork, and anticipation – that's what made it all so special.

The Menu:

1. Fried Ravioli:

Gluten-free ravioli, perfectly golden and crispy. The ultimate game day indulgence that's just as fun to eat as it is delicious.

  • Ingredients:

    • Frozen ravioli of your choice

    • Premade Maranera of your choice

    • Flour Mixture for batter

      • 4 cups of flour

      • 1 tbsp Cayenne

      • 2 tbsp Garlic Salt

      • 1 tbsp Salt

      • 1 tbsp pepper

    • How to:

      • Coat frozen ravioli in batter and fry for 10-12 minutes.

2. Ham & Pickle Rollup Dip:

A crowd-pleaser that combines the savory goodness of ham, the tangy kick of pickles, all rolled up and ready for a dip. Addictively good!

  • Ingredients:

    • 8 oz ham

    • 16 oz dill pickles

    • 16 oz of cream cheese

    How to:

    • I put the ham and pickle into a food processor or chopper and get everything super fine. Mix it into the room temperature cream cheese. Chill in refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve cold.

3. Guacamole, Salsa, and Chips

Classic guacamole, zesty salsa, and an assortment of gluten-free chips – because what's game day without these staples? The store-bought salsa I love is Julios, but choose your favorite brand. (Fresh salsa recipe coming soon in another post!)

  • Guacamole Recipe

    • Ingredients:

      • 2 large avocados

      • 2/3rds of a red onion chopped finely

      • 5-8 cherry tomatoes diced

      • 1 tablespoon of garlic salt

      • salt and pepper to taste

    • How to

      • Chop everything up and mix together, super easy! I usually do this towards the beginning of prep just so all of the flavors and get worked in together.

        • TIP: to make sure the guacamole doesn’t get brown, take plastic wrap and push it all the way down to the guacamole and make sure there is no air getting to it. It will stay green much longer this way.

4. Mozzarella Sticks:

Stringy, gooey, and gluten-free. These mozzarella sticks are the epitome of indulgence, and dipping them just adds to the delight.

    • Flour Mixture for batter

      • 4 cups of flour

      • 1 tbsp Cayenne

      • 2 tbsp Garlic Salt

      • 1 tbsp Salt

      • 1 tbsp pepper

    • How to:

      • Super simple, just mix all of the ingredients together!

    • The only other thing you need for this is prebought mozzarra string cheese!

    • How to:

      • Roll cheese sticks into batter

      • Fry in Veggietable oil for about 5-7 minutes

5. Veggies and Dip:

A refreshing break with crisp veggies and a flavorful dip. Because balance is key, even on game day!

No recipe is needed. Just get your favorite veggies from the store and put on a tray with dip. (OR go for store-bought trays and arrange on your own platter)

6. Mixed Pepper Pinwheels:

A colorful and tasty addition to the spread. These pinwheels are not only gluten-free but also a visual delight.

    • Ingredients:

      • 5 diced mini sweet peppers

      • 4oz cream cheese

      • 1 tsp garlic powder

      • 1/2 cup mozzarella

      • 1/8 cup roasted red peppers

      • 1/8 cup diced Green chilis

      • 3 gluten free tortillas

    • How to:

      • Combine all of the ingredients and spread onto the tortillas. Roll them up and stick them into the fridge until hardened and cut into 1/2 inch pieces.

7. Stuffed Mushrooms:

Bursting with savory goodness, these stuffed mushrooms are the sophisticated touch your game day board needs.

    • Ingredients:

      • 4oz cream cheese

      • 1 tsp garlic powder

      • 1/2 cup mozzarella

      • 8-10 mushrooms

    • How to:

      • Preheat over to 350 degrees. Combine all of the ingredients and spoon a tablespoon of the mixture into the hollowed out mushroom. Put them on the cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes and then broil to brown the top.

8. Franks Red Hot Buffalo chicken Dip: (A Franks Red Hot Recipe )

A little spicy and a little creamy and a little protein goes a long way for this spread!

  • Ingredients:

  • How to

    • PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Spoon into shallow 1-quart baking dish.

    • BAKE 20 minutes or until mixture is heated through; stir.  Sprinkle with green onions, if desired, and serve with chips, crackers and/or cut up veggies.

      • Want to make this even easier? Throw in the crockpot for about 3-4 hours and skip the oven space

Now it is time to dive in, and trust me, the aftermath was glorious! The mix of flavors, textures, and the joy of sharing this spread made it a game day to remember. Plus, the teamwork with my husband made it even more special.
