Amika Perk Up Plus Dry Shampoo - I bought this dry shampoo back in May and I’m not sure what happened but I didn’t really use it until we were packing for Arizona and I ended up bringing it on the trip with us. Honestly, that was a great test because while we were there we went from one extreme to the other, We would be hiking in the morning and then at a nice lunch a couple of hours later so it was really put to the test and I am really impressed with how well it did! I am JUUUST about through my first bottle and I will definitely be repurchasing it as the new dry shampoo that I use. I love the smell of it and the reason I ever bought it in the first place is because it has better ingredients in it! I had been seeing so many videos about the negative effects of some dry shampoos and this was on the list of safer products so I am glad that it works and that I made the switch!
My Bread Maker - Most of you probably know by now that I have a gluten allergy and if you know anything about gluten allergies, most of the breads that I eat either cost an arm and a leg or they are small and taste like garbage. When my mother-in-law visited last month she bought me a bread maker and set me up with everything that I would need to start making bread. It is SO easy and I get better with it with each loaf that I make. All loaves so far have been edible (hahaha) but not perfect so I will keep practicing! I really love the features of this bread maker. To start, it’s beautiful and I love the color of it! But it also has a setting for gluten-free bread specifically, I can add things into it like nuts or fruits, I can pick the toastiness setting and so much more! If you are in the market for a bread maker, I highly suggest this one! Or if you’re not in the market yet but have to eat gluten-free, I would suggest trying to make your own bread, it is seriously delish! There is nothing better than fresh warm bread and butter, holy moly!!
Black Free People Dupe Jumpsuit - I had a variation of this jumpsuit in my Amazon cart for a very long time and finally saw someone do a try-on over on Instagram that shared this exact one and how it had adjustable straps so I decided to finally take the plunge and buy it. I really liked the idea of being able to adjust the straps on this because I didn’t want it to look like I was wearing a diaper haha! With this one, I am able to make it look much more normal on my body and it has come in handy so much already! I wore it while we were in Arizona to dinner, I wear it around the house here and it will be perfect in the next couple of months in Florida as a transition piece into fall. I have this in an XL and I got the color black, I love how versatile it is! It is an oversized fit but I wouldn’t size it down, I like the way that it fits oversized! I just add a tank top or a sports bra underneath and it is the most comfortable outfit!
Drunk Elephant Bronzing Drops - This is another product that I took forever to pull the trigger on and then one day my sister gifted them to me and I have no idea why I took so long to get them! I love the glow that they give me and I love that it is easy to apply. I just put a little dot of my normal Cerave moisturizer on my fingers and then a small dab of the bronzing drops and I rub them together and put it on my face! It is so easy to apply and I feel like it gives my skin just this really nice glow without looking fake or anything. I haven’t tried too many face tanning products but I don’t see myself trying any new ones for a while, I am pretty set with these ones! I have tried a lot of Drunk Elephant products in the last five years and I would say this is in my top three favorite products from this company, they did a really great job with these!
Green Shorts Bodysuit - This was probably one of the most impulse purchases that I have maybe ever made. I saw someone again, doing a try-on over on Instagram and I immediately swiped up and bought it. I usually don’t go for green but I love this color of green so much right now. I have worn this bodysuit with a long sleeve tied around my waist while hiking, I have worn it to do a Peloton workout and I have also worn it with one of my Nike cropped t-shirts which makes it just look like bike shorts. One of you actually suggested wearing it under skirts and things to help with chaffing and I feel like that is such a good idea! As I am sitting here typing this I also think it could be actually VERY cute if you wore this green bodysuit under the black amazon jumpsuit! It is a fun pop of color and acts as a sports bra! If green isn’t your color it comes in like four other colors to choose from! I have a large!
